Rosie’s Coffee was first established in 2004, in the unique, varied and simply unspoilt environment of the Sunshine Coast, on the east coast of Australia.

It was said that after Rosie was born she learned almost immediately to talk and once she started she never stopped, so to get some peace and quiet her father would sit her upon his knee and spoon small drops of his coffee into her mouth. By the time she could crawl Rosie’s dad was brewing 2 cups -one for each of them. Rosie’s father originally wanted Rosie to take over the family business – a pharmacy, and although this knowledge later formed the foundation of her blending techniques both Rosie and her father knew her true passion was coffee. So Rosie, with her fathers blessing, began her life long passion to perfect that unique blend of coffee beans to create that perfect coffee.

Rosie established her own coffee house – Rosie’s on Buderim, which was the realization of her childhood dream and Rosie’s became one of the very first boutique suppliers of 100% Arabica Coffee Beans in Australia.

Quite often when explaining the differences between her different coffee blends, people would ask Rosie what was her favourite, and although Rosie has her favourites, the range of Rosie’s blends is in fact one of the elements that makes Rosie’s Coffee so unique. Early on, Rosie realised there were different blends that suited different people at different times of the day. This is what lead too the unique range of specialist blends within Rosie’s range. For Rosie her favourite morning coffee has always been Rosie’s Nicaraguan. As a morning person Rosie preferred extra smooth mellowness and having a Maragogype bean base it has that extra smoothness with a light nutty aftertaste that combines perfectly.

Rosie was often invited to speak on coffee at various events to share her passion and knowledge on coffee and blending. Her talks were always warmly received with people being genuinely interested in her knowledge of all things coffee. One person even nicknamed her the ‘Coffee Queen’.

After many years Rosie chose to move her business “on line” so we could take her coffee blends to coffee lovers around Australia and the world.
